New International Partner Track

    Monday–Tuesday, October 25–26

  • Global Church-Based Theological Education: Introductory Seminar • 9 am–5 pm
    • An introduction to BILD's certificate and degree programs—the philosophy, the program options, and how to set up a program.

    Wednesday, October 27

  • BILD Partner Strategic Planning and Reporting Center • 9 am–12 pm
    • An introduction to BILD's web-based tool for international partners who are developing leadership training programs with BILD.
  • Strategic Planning Workshop • 1 pm–5 pm
    • Utilizing the Strategic Planning and Reporting Center, participants will develop, shape, and record a 5-Year Master Plan for their leadership training programs.

    Thursday, October 28

  • Strategic Planning Workshop • 9 am–12 pm
    • Utilizing the Strategic Planning and Reporting Center, participants will develop, shape, and record a detailed 12-month plan for their leadership training programs.
  • BILD ePortfolio System • 1 pm–5 pm
    • An overview and workshop covering the use of BILD's web-based portfolio system in the training of Type I–V Leaders.

    Friday, October 29

  • Antioch School ePortfolio System • 9 am–12 pm
    • An introduction to the Antioch School's web-based portfolio system that accompanies all Antioch School degree programs.
  • Ministry Reporting Workshop • 1 pm–5 pm
    • An overview and workshop covering the use of BILD's web-based tools for submitting ministry reports.

    Monday–Tuesday, November 1–2

  • Teaching the First Principles (BILD Resources Workshop) • 9 am–5 pm
    • Develop your understanding of the foundational educational principles of BILD resources and demonstrate your ability to use them effectively through the use of BILD's First Principles discipleship materials.

    Wednesday–Thursday, November 3–4

  • Teaching the Acts Course (BILD Resources Workshop) • 9 am–5 pm
    • Develop your understanding of the Acts course as foundational in content and format for teaching Leadership Series courses.

    Thursday, November 4

  • Keynote Address from Jeff Reed, President and CEO, BILD • 7–9 pm

    Friday, November 5

  • PTP I: The Church as Theological Education • 9 am–5 pm
    • The Paradigm Transformation Projects have been designed to lead participants through the global church-based theological education paradigm. The last 40 years of attempts by Western churches to renew theological education (especially in North America) have resulted in merely adapting the formal model, rather than a radical return to the "way of Christ and His Apostles." These workshops are designed to help participants carefully think through the philosophy of their programs and to make sure they are built carefully on biblical foundations.

  • International Banquet—A Celebration • 6–9 pm
    • A banquet designed to celebrate the spontaneous expansion of the gospel through the multiplication of churches, as seen through the eyes and ministries of our international partners.

    Saturday, November 6

  • International Prayer Breakfast • 9–11 am
    • The Summit will conclude Saturday morning with a time of prayer for what we are asking God to do in 2011. A prayer list will be circulated, which will include the main prayer requests of every international partner in attendance. We anticipate an extensive time of prayer in groups, divided by countries/civilizations.

    • An introduction to BILD's web-based tool for international partners who are developing leadership training programs with BILD.
  • Strategic Planning Workshop • 1 pm–5 pm
    • Utilizing the Strategic Planning and Reporting Center, participants will assess the progress of their ministry and update their 5-Year Master Plan.

    Thursday, October 28

  • Strategic Planning Workshop • 9 am–12 pm
    • Utilizing the Strategic Planning and Reporting Center, participants will develop, shape, and record a detailed 12-month plan for their leadership training programs.

    • Consider theological education from the paradigm perspectives of biblical foundations, historical forms, traditional schooling models, and contemporary trends in education in order to be an effective apologist for church-based theological education.

  • Educational Philosophy: Teaching the First Principles (Continued) • 9 am–5 pm
    • Develop your understanding of the foundational educational principles of BILD resources and demonstrate your ability to use them effectively through the use of BILD's First Principles discipleship materials.

  • BILD International Orientation and Observation • 9 am–12 pm
    • Jeff Reed, President and CEO of BILD International will provide an orientation to BILD International as a philosophy, curriculum, and network. Participants will then have an opportunity to observe these three elements in action through the activities of the 2010 BILD International Summit.

  • Question and Answer Session and BILD Opportunities • 1–5 pm
    • A session designed to field questions and provide answers about BILD International and the Antioch School of Church Planting and Leadership Development. Opportunities for beginning involvement with BILD will also be presented.

  • International Banquet—A Celebration • 6–9 pm
