- You can register for the BILD International Summit in Ames, IA, by using our online registration form. You will receive an automatic confirmation email when you register. Complete the registration form.
- What does the Summit cost? How do I pay?
U.S. Attendees
- Antioch School Initial Certification Track attendees, Certification Training Fee: $225.
- Antioch School Ongoing Certification Track attendees: Cost is $75 for materials + 7% tax. If you bring your own course, there is no charge.
- Shipping cost is not included in the cost of materials but will be charged if you desire to have your materials shipped to you following the Summit.
- When you register, you may pay by credit card or your church will be invoiced. Please call in your credit card payment upon registration: 515-292-7012.
International Attendees:
- BILD will provide all meals, housing, and training materials.
- You will need to pay for all your travel expenses to Ames, Iowa, and back home, including visa expenses, and have some discretionary money.
All Attendees:
- Lunch will be provided at the Summit daily for all attendees.
- Regrettably, BILD is not able to provide sponsorships. You will need to make arrangements to pay for your own travel expenses to Ames, Iowa, and back home, including any visa expenses and discretionary money.

- Travel and housing arrangements:
For our International Attendees:
- Please complete the Travel Information Form to provide us with your travel information.
- You should fly into the Des Moines International Airport (DSM).
- If you are registered for the New International Partner Track: We recommend that you plan to arrive on October 23 so you can be refreshed and prepared for the opening session and that you plan to depart no earlier than late afternoon November 6.
- If you are registered for the Current International Partner Track: We recommend that you plan to arrive on October 25 so you can be refreshed and prepared for the opening session and that you plan to depart no earlier than late afternoon November 6.
- You will be picked up by a BILD representative at the Des Moines bus terminal, Ames bus terminal, or the Des Moines airport at the Baggage Claim area. The representative will be holding a "BILD International" sign for easy identification. In an emergency: week days 9:00 AM–5:00 PM CDT call the BILD offices at 515-292-7012. At all other times call Keith at 515-231-0600. If you are unable to reach Keith, call Kathy at 515-460-8188.
- International guests are invited to be housed by members of our church family (Oakwood Road Church). Since we have limited housing available, please register early!
- Your daily travel to and from the Summit will be provided.
For our U.S.A. Attendees:
- If you are flying, the Des Moines International Airport (DSM) is closest to Ames, Iowa. The airport is about 45 miles from Ames. Cars can be rented at the airport.
- We recommend that you plan to arrive the day before the start of your sessions so that you can be refreshed and prepared.

- Visa information needed:
- When we receive your online registration, we will email you an individual official invitation letter from Jeff Reed. You need this letter to take to your visa interview and for travel purposes at your Port of Entry. If you do not receive this invitation letter within three days of registering , please email Kathy Keller to let us know.
- Visa requirements are different depending on your country of origin. Citizens of most countries need a visa to travel to the U.S.A., but you must determine whether or not you live in a visa waiver country. Contact the U.S. Embassy in your country of origin or visit its website to determine whether or not you need a visa to travel to the U.S.A. The U.S. Embassy website lists the location of all U.S. Embassies and Consulates.

- What part of the Summit should I plan to attend?
- New International Partner Track is intended for international attendees who are new to BILD.
- Current International Partner Track is intended for international attendees who have completed the New International Partner Track.
- Antioch School Initial Certification Training Track is intended for those desiring to become certified, enabling them to build Antioch School programs for their churches, church networks, denominations, or church-planting movements. (For U.S.A. partners only. International Partners receive Initial Certification through the New International Partner Track.)
- Antioch School Ongoing Certification Track is intended for those who have completed the Antioch School Initial Certification Training Track. (For U.S.A. partners only.)
- Friends of BILD Track is designed to give an understanding of BILD to benefactors and donors, theological educators, anyone interested in the future of church leadership development, or anyone desiring an introduction to BILD International.

- What should I bring with me to the Summit?
- A laptop will be helpful to you while you are attending the Summit.
- The weather will be chilly to cold so, if possible, come prepared for chilly weather.
- You will receive several resources depending on your training track. It is helpful to come with an additional suitcase that is fairly empty so that you can pack the materials that you receive to take them home with you. As you plan, check with your airline for weight limits and number of bags allowed. This will save you the cost of having your materials shipped after the Summit.
