Envisioning Fruitful Lifework

In this book, Envisioning Fruitful Lifework, we will turn our attention to the role of work within family life. In the fourth book, we will focus on the true success in family life, the creation of an intergenerational heritage. We will begin in session one by focusing of the call of God on each of our lives—the call to a life of good works. This sits at the heart of our understanding of work. We will then, in session two, turn again to a portion of the main household text for family life—Ephesians 5:22-6:9, to gain an understanding of the relationship of work to our households. In session 3 we will look at the work ethic God expects of a Christian, regardless of his or her station in life. In session four, the subject of giving will be examined and built into the basics of our understanding of the role of work in our lives. In session five, we will turn our attention to developing a single-minded focus on our lifework – a growing integration of all of the good works we were created to carry out in our lifetime.  The sixth session is the integrating session, which unites all five sessions together, deepening your conviction and practice related to the principles.
