A
Streamlined Summit Format
BILD will
host its Annual International Partner Summit November 611, 2006. The Summit has been streamlined to incorporate
all activities and training into one week, including all advanced training required
for those developing BILD licensed and degree programs. This one-week format will
become standard for all of our future Annual International Partner Summits.
The format will take the following shape:
Monday (beginning at noon) BILD
Program Development/Assessment Training
TuesdayWednesday BILD Resources Training
Thursday Paradigm Transformation
Project Training
Thursday Night "Paradigm" Plenary Session
Friday New
BILD Resources/Developments
BILD Introduction and Orientation
Friday Night International
Banquet Celebration
Saturday (ending at noon) International
Prayer Breakfast
With this
new format, our existing and new partners will need to commit only one week a
year to get all the training needed to develop licensed and degree programs and
to maintain ongoing certification of those programs. Those desiring to begin
licensed or degree programs can get all the orientation and initial training
needed to start their programs. And finally, those just wanting to take a look
at BILD; those wanting to visit, celebrate, and pray with their international
friends; or those just keeping up with BILD developments can do so with not
much more time than a long weekend.
An
Exciting Development—Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral Degrees
Thursday
night will be devoted to the announcement and inauguration of BILD International University's Antioch School of Church Planting
and Leadership Development. This is a whole new type of degree program—a
church-based program, rooted in cutting edge, competency-based models (such as
Western Governor's University), that stays true to the "way of Christ and His Apostles"
commitment of BILD International. And all of the training takes place in the
context of local churches and/or church-planting teams.
Who Should
Attend the Summit?
·
Church leaders and
missionaries desiring to explore BILD's program for developing leaders in their
churches or church planting movement, or to explore possible partner
involvement with BILD internationally.
·
Those who desire
to strategize, celebrate, and pray with international friends and partners in
the BILD network.
·
Those who want to
begin the initial training process of setting up BILD licensed or degree
programs.
·
Those in the
ongoing training process required for overseeing BILD licensed and degree
programs.
·
Benefactors and potential
donors who desire first-hand progress reports of key international leaders,
showing the effectiveness of the BILD programs in their church-planting
movements
·
Church leaders
and missionaries desiring to get degrees through BILD International.
·
Anyone who is part
of the BILD network who desires to keep connected with the ideas, partners, and
resources of BILD International.
Should I
Be There All Week?
For those
partners who would like to invite supporting churches, major donors, or new leaders
they would like to expose to BILD International, a great combination would be to
invite them Thursday night for the Paradigm Plenary session, Friday for the BILD Introduction and Orientation, Friday night for a celebratory banquet focused on what God is doing worldwide through our partner church planting movements, and Saturday morning for an international prayer breakfast for a meaningful and substantive experience designed to root the partner programs in prayer for the coming year.
The Annual
International Partner Summit will be held every year during the first week in November
at BILD's Resource Center in Ames, Iowa. So put the following dates for 20072010 on your calendar
and the calendars of your key leaders, interested ministry partners, and
benefactors.

families of Oakwood Road Church for up to 100 international

contact donors on your behalf or introduce you to donors if needed (donors are
