Initial Certification

In order to offer Antioch School degree programs, leaders of churches, church networks, and church-planting movements can be initially certified by demonstrating the competencies associated with the partner leader certification training program.

Training opportunities are available during the BILD International Summit in the first week of November each year, as well as at other times throughout the year.

Schedule and Workshops

Day One:

7:30–8 a.m.                 Registration

8–9:30 a.m.                 Introduction

9:30–11 a.m.               Educational Philosophy: Teaching the First Principles

11 a.m.*–6 p.m.          Educational Philosophy: Teaching the Acts Course

Day Two:

8–11 a.m.                     Educational Philosophy: Teaching the First Principles (continued)

11 a.m.*–6 p.m.           Educational Paradigms: Transforming Theological Education

Day Three:

8 a.m.–12:30 p.m.*     Educational Philosophy: Teaching the First Principles (continued)

1:30–6 p.m.                  Educational Portfolios: Assessing Competencies

* Lunch on your own at 12:30 p.m.–1:30 p.m. daily

**Registrations received less than 14 days prior to the training event may be assigned a $25 late fee.
